EDUCATION:

1998 - to begin an MBA at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
1993 - graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, with a B.A. in History. (Class of '93 alumni page link to be placed here)
1993 (summer) - PICAS grant to study intensive Mandarin at the University of Michigan.
1992 (spring) - Carleton Political Economy Seminar in Beijing, China, at the University of International Business and Economics. (Poli-Econ Seminar alumni web page in link to be placed here)
1991 (summer) - Chien Tan in Taibei, Taiwan. Group A.

RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE:

1994-98 - Project Manager, U.S.-China Industrial Exchange, Inc. (Chindex) (Nasdaq: CHDX). Responsible for overseeing the establishment of the first Sino-U.S. specialty joint venture hospital in China, the Beijing United Family Hospital.
1998 - Founder, (a little) China Insight web site (hey, this counts for something, doesn't it??)
1993-94 - Foreign Copy Editor, the China Daily.
1992 (summer) - Copy Editor, the Boston Globe.
